Strength and Injury Prevention Program

Ski season is almost here! Help your teen build strength, improve stability, and reduce their risk of injury with our Strength & Injury Prevention Class, designed for boys and girls ages 12 and older.

This class focuses on jumping and landing mechanics, lower-body strengthening, dynamic balance, agility, single-leg stability, and ski-specific exercises.

Did you know that ACL tears are among the most common serious knee injuries in recreational skiing, and many occur without direct contact? These injuries often happen during twisting falls, awkward landings, or sudden changes in direction that place excessive stress on the knee. Adolescent athletes are particularly vulnerable to ACL injuries due to changes in strength, coordination, and movement control during growth.

Research shows that structured injury prevention programs combining strength, balance, and movement training can reduce ACL injury risk by approximately 50% in young athletes, particularly when exercises are performed consistently.

Our goal is to help young athletes develop the strength, stability, and movement mechanics needed to reduce injury risk and prepare for ski season!
